What is a pnwtc committee?

“It stands for Pacific Northwest Teen Cachers. Basically anybody under 18 is welcome. Mainly myself (Geobloxs), cacheingcants, sahan, and SharkAndDino.

Everyone plays the game differently…but us youngsters definitely have the most new stuff to bring to the table. New ideas, cache hides, etc. I think an official committee is a good idea.” – Geobloxs (9/2025)

COMPOSITION: Made up of the “focus committee” members: Four (4) founding members and one or two board members as advisors, mediators, signing adults & experts. All other members will simply be non-appointed members of this inner club.

• Must be 19 years of age and younger.
• Must be active members of the WSGA to serve as a PNWTC Committee member
• No required WSGA Membership to be a member of the PNWTC Club

PURPOSE: To concentrate on the specific areas  of youth geocachers within our communities and report back to the full board.

AUTHORITY: This is an advisory committee empowered by the board to make certain decisions. Some of that empowerment includes outreach, event representation. communications, research & activities planning & execution.

COMMITTEE COORDINATOR: The president will tap an individual to lead this committee**. This committee’s lead will be called the WSGA Youth Coordinator”.

• Tapped and appointed by the WSGA President with board approval as per WSGA By-law Article 8: Committees & appointments.
• Reports to the Committee Advisor & the WSGA Executive Committee
