2024 WSGA Premium Member Coin & WSGA Organization Coins

To ALL WSGA members, committee members, volunteers, and board members.

• In 2024, my intention as president, was to issue out a trackable to all our Premium members. This trackable was for anyone who had purchased and joined the WSGA as a Premium member between Jan. 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024. Midway through 2024, the board of directors voted and approved a change in the by-laws to rephrase the “Premium Member gift” from “…trackable geocoin” to “…geocoin or trackable item.” Thinking that I was in the clear to acquire a blinky-blinky trackable item, I progressed through the year until I was held up at our November 2024 board meeting by one of our Chapter Representatives who pointed out that there had been numerous WSGA *Premium members who had purchased their membership prior to the by-laws update and they had been expecting a “Geocoin”. The WSGA immediately requested the help of our in-house design team and a theme was drawn up. From there, a design was created. Chinese new year didn’t help and the imports uncertainty was also thought-about. In the end, this coin goes out to all of you, who have supported us, joined us, participated, volunteered, laughed with us, yelled at us, cried with us and watched us grow. It’s our way of saying thanks and showing that we care.

• In previous years, the WSGA has conjured up designs honoring everything Washington State. From Mt. Rainier, to ferries, the Spokane Skyride, the Columbia River, state parks, the Space Needle, Apples, Cotlets, and an infamous ape. Never have we designed and created a coin honoring past and current members and volunteers. Until now!!

I give you the 2024 WSGA Premium Member Geocoin & WSGA Organization Geocoins.

The Green Executive Board Coin is the official 2024 Premium Member Coin, limited to 230 production. Designed by nepokama aka Mitch Eatough who is responsible for the design and creation of more WSGA geocoins and designs than anyone else. The intention for this coin is to honor all of the organization’s Past elected Executive Board members; i.e. President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary, that have served since our founding fathers put this little group together. I am proud to have followed such names as, Seth! (1st WSGA President), moun10bike (infamous), hydnsek, benandJayme, jcar, ACFunk, Allanon, and many more.

The White Chapter Representative Coin is limited to 100 production and only available in the WSGA store very soon. This coin is intended to honor all the WSGA elected “Chapter Representatives” and early years “Members-at-large” covering each of our seven (7) chapters.
Names like; Mc3cats, Martin5, Winos_Seattle, half_Canadian, FrodoB, rambudo, the Superknotts, Verano, and many more. This coin is very limited and will sell out.

And then there’s the Black Coin… This coin is hyper-limited in production. Fifty (50) pressed. Designed by nepokama. It’s the 2024 presidential “Volunteer” Coin. This coin is very special and exclusively “handed” to those individuals who do things for the WSGA above and beyond any typical volunteer. This coin has a message and is fully intended to recognize individuals. It is handed out by the presiding WSGA President for that year. The names on it are individuals who were asked to further be involved and volunteer to be approved to specific committees during the year of 2024 while I (Winos_Seattle) was in office. Some individuals accepted my requests for help on one or two of our organization’s committees and some individuals simply could not commit as life does go on. I respect that. In the end, we currently have more individuals involved than ever before. Some of those names include; rocketglider, lucymogus, LovOrca, Clever_cachers, skyhawker, HawaiianMaile, BryanBeFinding, and many more.
