WSGA JULY 2024 LIVE PUBLIC BOARD MEETING & Campout Weekend

The WSGA Board of Directors will be hosting a “LIVE” public WSGA Board Meeting on July 27th, 2024 at the Campout event in Benton City. You all are invited to attend. Come join us for all the Campout weekend activities, including a Friday night Adventure Lab Night cache event, a poker run and Adventure Lab run on Saturday, a grill-out in the park and much more. Our board meeting agenda is shown below. There will be a chance for all to ask questions before and after the meeting and see how this organization functions behind the scenes. Elections For The 2023 – 2024 Board

The election season has started here at the WSGA. We are looking for candidates who are interested in serving the board in all positions for the 2023 – 2024 board. The tenure begins 4/1/23 and runs thru 3/31/24. All positions are open though we do have many of our current members returning for another year. If you are interested in a Chapter Representative position, you are required to reside in the chapter that you want to serve. Executive committee positions (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasure) are open to all Washington State Residents regardless of where in the state you live.  If you are interested in any position, please contact us via the contact page on this website which is located next to the “Membership” menu.  The deadline for nominees is 2/15/23. Once your nomination has been received, someone from our election committee will contact you to discuss the position you are interested in. All board members MUST be current WSGA members. Level of membership does not matter. You just have to be a current WSGA member to serve on this board and must keep your membership current during your tenure on the board.  If you have any questions regarding serving on our board, please reach out to us via the contact page on our website.

20TH ANNIVERSARY GEOTOUR LAUNCH DATE SCHEDULED

Our 20th Anniversary GeoTour now has an official launch date. The tour goes live on Saturday October 29th. We are putting together kick-off events around the state to help kick the tour off in grand fashion. You can also pick up your premium member coin if you are a WSGA premium member prior to 9/30/22. Chapter Reps will have the coins to hand out to members during the kick off events.

All GeoTour cache owners need to have their geocache placed and submitted to the reviewer ASAP. If you have already done so, please go out and check on your placed cache prior to 10/29/22 to see if its still where its supposed to be. If the cache is missing, contact your chapter rep for a replacement container.
