Production of the 2013 Washington coin is underway! Nepokama, our intrepid coin manager, created two designs, both continuing the east/west side theme of the 2012 coin. The Board liked the designs so much that we voted to use them both, one this year and the other in 2014.
Below is the approved design for the 2013 coin, which features a rhodie for the West side of the state and an apple for the East side. We are minting 270 regular coins in black nickel, plus 30 volunteer coins. The coins will have our WA prefix on the tracking codes and a custom icon. Let us know what you think! Here are the custom icons:  As usual, WSGA members will get a two-week window to order first and receive a discount. So renew those memberships! Coins will cost $10 for members and $12 for nonmembers; limit of 3 per household (for those of you with two accounts under one roof). All orders will be mailed, so postage will be added. The order page will be up later in February, and we expect coin delivery in late March. %20(Small).jpg) %20(Small).jpg) P.S. The 2013 Washington geocoin is now available!
WSGA members have an exclusive 2-week ordering window, starting today, before we open it to the general public. Member price is $10, limit three. We only minted 270 this year, so get yours today! The coins are here! We will be packaging and shipping all orders by the end of April, so check your mail in early May.
